Item no: KP17-22-M

Visconti launches the seventh edition of the Il Magnifico collection, this time in the precious Italian Calacatta Macchia Oro marble.
A limited edition of 188 fountain pens and 88 rollerball pens.
The Il Magnifico collection pays tribute to Lorenzo de Medici, the most powerful and enthusiastic patron of the Renaissance in Italy during the Florentine Republic.
As a patron of the arts, he is best known for sponsoring artists such as Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Michelangelo.
This new addition to the collection, Calacatta Gold, is made of a rare and expensive elegant white Carrara marble with gold veins mined in the Apuan Alps.
Calacatta marble has historically been reserved for the most prestigious projects and artworks, such as those of Michelangelo and Donatello.
It is synonymous with luxury, elegance, and sophistication.
The prestige is due to both the quality and rarity: production in Carrara is limited and controlled.
The marble body is complemented by a finely engraved cap adorned with Florentine symbols such as the famous Florentine Lily.
All metal embellishments are made of yellow gold-plated brass, perfectly matching the warm golden tones of the marble.
The same yellow gold finish can be found on the precious 18-karat solid gold Visconti nib.
