Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava Color Tuff fountain pen
Item no: KP15-08-03-FPEF
About 5000 years ago man marked the beginning of civilized history by the invention of writing and the Bronze Age began. The first great civilizations arose and soon afterwards the development of science began.
To commemorate this, Visconti de Homo Sapiens created writing instruments for real writers and for whom the fountain pen is still an essential travel companion.
This Visconti Homo Sapiens Lava Color collection is also made of a material that is as old as the world around us, Lava from the volcano Mount Etna. Lava has never before been used for the production of writing instruments. Visconti has successfully developed a material consisting of more than 50 Baltic lava, together with colored acrylic resin in a proprietary formula. The extraordinary properties of lava are ideal for a writing instrument for everyday use. This new edition has an anti-smudge treatment that protects the pen and prevents ink smudges from getting on the pen during filling..
The Homo Sapiens Lava Color features Visconti's double reservoir filling system and the new, fully in-house, 14-karat gold ruthenium-plated nib. All fittings, clip and rings have a PVD coating. The cap does not have the well-known bayonet closure as is the case with the earlier Homo Sapiens pens, but is provided with a magnetic closure.
You can personalize your Visconti pen with Visconti's "My Pen System". The Visconti logo on top of the cap can be easily removed with a small magnet. Instead of this logo, two initials can be placed.
We expect to deliver this new Homo Sapiens Lava Color collection mid-soon.
