The Divina collection from Visconti consists of a series of pens, made according to the principle of the 'Golden Ratio', the divine number Phi: 1.618. This number corresponds to the 'aesthetic reasoning': the ideal dimensions that have been proven to be perceived as pleasing to the eye. Artists and scientists make frequent use of it. The number Phi can divide circles into ten decagram and five pentagram equal pieces.len.
A few years ago, Visconti started looking for perfection in design: the concept of making a circle square without losing the circle was developed under the title 'squaring the circle' and realized in the Wallstreet and Opera collections. Inspiration for this idea came from Leonardo da Vinci's drawing 'Vetruvian Man'. All these beauty ideals form the basis of the Divina collection. Striking are the pentagram and the ratio between the cap and the container is 1 to 1.618. But the most recognizable style element in the Divina collection is the Nautilus spiral around the pen. The Divina Black is made of acrylic resin in the color black; the five lines are made of sterling silver.ver.
The fountain pen and roller closure illustrates Visconti's craftsmanship: the closure system between the cap and the barrel is both special and user-friendly. It works with a spring-loaded inner cap as a kind of bayonet closure, is easy to open and close but will never come off by itself.
The Divina Black is available as a fountain pen in two sizes, the oversized fountain pen has an 18 krt. gold nib available in various writing widths, the slightly smaller size is equipped with a 14 karat gold nib. Both fountain pen models have a so-called "pull and turn" filling system piston principle. In addition, there are two roller models, plain and oversized, a ballpoint pen and an oversized sketch pencil with a 3.2mm pencil lead and one with a 0.7mm leadft
