TWSBI Vac 700R Iris fountain pen
Item no: M7449660
The TWSBI Vac 700 Clear is a large fountain pen with a vacuum filling mechanism. The (semi-) transparent barrel provides a clear view of how this mechanism works. Additionally, the pen takes on a different character based on the ink with which the fountain pen is filled. The TWSBI logo can be found on the top of the cap.
TWSBI's vacuum filling system ensures that the entire barrel is filled with ink (almost 2.5 ml). By a simple action, a vacuum is created and the pen fills completely with ink. When the fountain pen is fully closed, the feed is sealed by the piston, which serves as an extra safeguard against leakage.
The TWSBI Vac 700 Fountain Pen has a polished stainless steel nib with the logo engraved in various widths.
TWSBI fountain pens can be completely disassembled for maintenance purposes. The instructions and tools are included with every TWSBI. Disassembling the TWSBI fountain pens is intended only for the experienced user and is not necessary for normal use of the fountain pen. Therefore, disassembling TWSBI fountain pens is entirely at your own risk.
With more than 40 years of experience in producing writing instruments for other brands, Ta Shin Precision decided to sell writing instruments under its own label, TWSBI. The name TWSBI consists of two parts, TWS and BI. 'TWS' is the reversed initials of the phrase 'San Wen Tong', which means Hall of the Three Cultures, and 'BI' is the literal translation of writing instrument.
