This year's annual edition of Sailor's colored ebonite series is 'SYOKEI', which means Admiration. The body color is inspired by "Tsurebiki", a masterpiece by Harunobo Suzuki, known for his beautiful doll-like representation of people in his "Ukiyoe" woodblock art.

He mixed chalk to express neutral colors, giving his art a lyrical and fantastic touch. Sailor admired "Tsurebiki" and brought his style to life in SYOKEI's color theme by applying layers of colored ebonite to the fountain pen's barrel.
