PC/EL for smooth surfaces The PC/EL has a pointed nib and is ideally suited for smooth and glossy surfaces, contact point of 0.35mm
POM for matte surfaces The POM nib is a rounded nib and is ideal for writing on matte surfaces, giving a feel similar to writing on paper.
