Kaweco Ebonit Sport 140 year anniversary edition fountain pen
Item no: 1511345
With the Kaweco Ebonit Sport, Kaweco takes us on a journey through time. Not only is the shape of the popular Sport model inspired by products from more than a hundred years ago, but the material used also has historical origins. At a time when the injection molding process had not yet been invented, ebonite was often the material of choice for writing instruments. The name ebonite goes back to ebony, the exotic wood that the synthetic material tried to imitate. The expressive marbling and the highly polished surface are very similar. The composition of the material with natural rubber and sulfur is completely natural. The combination with gold-plated elements underlines the nostalgic character of the fountain pen and enhances the warm brown grain. An intricate burin engraving perfectly complements the historic craftsmanship.
As a perfect addition, the limited set includes a nostalgic clip in gold to securely attach the pen to a writing pad. In addition to the standard royal blue ink cartridge in the fountain pen, there is also a handy 10-pack of all Kaweco ink colors to individualize your own writing. Everything comes together in special packaging, which is inspired by historical cardboard boxes of the past.
