This year's Heritage collection is inspired by stationery from the Montblanc archives from the 1920s and 1930s. This was a time when the history of ancient Egypt and its discoveries fascinated Europe. In principle, this was mainly due to the decipherment of the hieroglyphic script by Jean-François Champollion in 1822. However, Howard Carter's discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922 caused a true Egyptomania in Europe.

In line with their predecessors, the frame shape is octagonal and all pens have a retro clip decorated with a scarab, the symbol of the human heart and immortality. The engraving on the cap, Montblanc in hieroglyphs "white stone mountain", recalls the passion for Egyptian culture in the 1920s.g.

Heritage Egyptomania Doué has an octagonal cap in black precious resin, the barrel is partly provided with a metal octagonal casing with a palladium finish with a vintage look. On the holder are passages from Hoenefer's Book of the Dead, taken from the first page. This papyrus scroll, with mysterious texts and images on it, was given to Hoenefer in death to guide and help him to the underworld.

The collection consists of two editions, each available as a fountain pen, ballpoint pen and roller pen.

We expect to have these pens available soon.
