Graf von Faber-Castell Perfect Pencil Magnum, Black Edition

With its extra thick and pleasantly soft 4B lead, the Graf von Faber-Castell Magnum Perfect Pencil provides a unique writing experience, but it is perhaps even better suited for drawing and sketching. There are two variants: one brown fluted with a platinum finish and one black fluted with an anthracite-colored titanium PVD coating.

The "Perfect Pencil," also known as the "ultimate pencil" (with the sharpener in the cap), was officially introduced in the Netherlands in September 1995. It effortlessly made its way into all leading Dutch newspapers, but then again, this is not just any pencil. The holder is made of unlacquered, grooved cedar wood. On one end, there is a sharpened point, while the other end features a metal screw thread onto which a platinum-plated holder is screwed, concealing a small eraser. This eraser is covered by another platinum-plated cap. The most distinctive feature is, of course, the cap, which is designed to protect the pencil tip and is equipped with a classic spring-loaded clip and a hidden sharpener.
