Visconti Van Gogh"Old vineyard with peasant woman"fountain pen
Item no: KP12-16-FPF
The new Visconti van Gogh is inspired by a famous drawing he made of a vineyard near Auvers-sur-Oise, the place where he spent the last months of his life. Van Gogh first made a drawing in pencil. Then he added oil and watercolor in various shades of blue. He made some roofs red, but they have since faded to brown. By leaving large parts of the paper uncovered, the white plays an important role in the representation. The painting is part of the collection of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
The pens are packaged in an elegant white box featuring an image of the painting by Van Gogh to which it is dedicated. Inside the box, we find a bookmark on which a copy of Van Gogh's artwork is printed. This new Van Gogh collection is equipped with a nib that Visconti has manufactured in-house.
Holders and caps each have 18 sharply cut facets, which makes this Van Gogh collection stand out in a special way. Because the color streaks in the resin are never the same, each pen in the Van Gogh series is a true one of a kind. The fountain pen and rollerball are equipped with a cap featuring a magnetic closure. Additionally, there is a ballpoint pen with gel ink, and we can also convert this upon request into a 0.7mm mechanical pencil.
The fountain pen is standardly supplied with a steel nib available in fine (F), medium (M), and broad (B). The pen can be filled with standard cartridges or with the included converter.
You can personalize your Visconti pen with Visconti's "My Pen System." The Visconti logo on top of the cap can be easily removed with a small magnet. Instead of this logo, two initials can be placed.
