The TWSBI Eco (abbreviation for economical) Dark Sapphire is the most affordable fountain pen that uses a piston filling mechanism. The resin TWSBI Eco fountain pen has a clear barrel that allows the mechanism to be visible. The clear body also gives the TWSBI a different appearance depending on the ink it is filled with. The faceted cap gives the TWSBI Eco a powerful look. The TWSBI logo completes the top of the cap.

The TWSBI Eco fountain pen features a polished stainless steel nib with the TWSBI logo, available in various sizes.

TWSBI fountain pens can be fully disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. Instructions and necessary tools are provided with each TWSBI fountain pen. Please note: disassembly is only recommended for experienced users and is not necessary for regular use. Disassembly is at your own risk!

With a history of over 40 years of production, including manufacturing high-end pens for other brands, Ta Shin Precision has decided to sell under their own brand, TWSBI. The name TWSBI is composed of TWS and BI. 'TWS' are the reversed initials of the phrase 'San Wen Tong', translated as Hall of Three Cultures, and 'BI' literally means writing instrument.
