Platinum Izumo Raden Galaxy fountain pen

The Platinum Izumo Raden Galaxy fountain pen is one of the finest examples of traditional Japanese techniques. This"Galaxy"fountain pen"Galaxy"has a large"Izumo"body with richly sprinkled with Raden (mother of pearl).

You have the universe in your hand, so to speak, the ebonite body is finished with Urushi Nuri (Japanese lacquer) and finely ground mother-of-pearl has been placed all over the pen to reflect the light. After about 6 months of painting, drying and polishing, the"Galaxy"emerges with countless stars on the jet black body. The fountain pen is finished with 18k gold and rhodium plated nib, all nibs are manufactured and tested in-house by Platinum, they are therefore known for their superior quality
