Nakaya Kyoto 'Nishijin-Kyoto' textile pen case, white cloud

One-piece pencil case made from "Nishijin-Kyoto", one of the finest Japanese fabrics. Each thread is dyed before it is woven using a technique called "saki-some". The threads of the fabric rise to the surface and give it a beautiful feel and volume.
