Pelikan Souverän M600 Black/Green fountain pen

The Pelikan Souverän M600 black/green fountain pen is the middle size in the Souverän series. The fountain pen is filled using a fixed piston mechanism, standard for the entire Souverän series. This model is slightly smaller than the M800 and a fraction larger than the M400. However, the pen feels most similar in weight to the smaller Pelikan, the M400. The barrel of the holder is unique in its kind and is manufactured according to a patented process, where raw cotton undergoes several processing stages until a thin striped sheet of cellulose acetate is formed.

The nib is made of 14-carat gold with a rhodium mask. The familiar clip, shaped like a pelican's beak, is gold-plated, just like the other metal parts.
