Caran d'Ache Léman Grand Bleu CT fountain pen. For decades, the Léman collection has been one of Caran d'Ache's most important series. Near Lake Geneva, called "Lac Léman" in French, are the Caran d'Ache factories where writing instruments have been crafted with Swiss precision since 1924. The Léman collection features a classic design and is available in various lacquer colors and matching finishes, either gilded or rhodium-plated. In the Léman Grand Blue collection, the water surface stirred by a gentle breeze is reflected; beneath the transparent blue lacquer, the barrel and cap are engraved with a fine wavy pattern. The Léman fountain pen has a screw cap and can be filled with standard cartridges or the included converter. The nib is made of 18-carat gold, which depending on the model, is either gold-colored or finished with rhodium.
