The Aurora 88 fountain pen, first manufactured in 1947 as a response to the Parker 51, is this brand's most successful pen. The fountain pen features a perfectly functioning piston system and advanced ink feed, developed in collaboration with Aurora and the famous designer Marcello Nizzoli.

Unique to this Aurora 88 is the hidden ink reservoir, which makes it possible to write at least a few more pages before it is truly empty. Thanks to this technical innovation, the 88 was the first pen to earn a place in the Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan.

The "Aurora 88" was reintroduced in 1980. The extremely smooth piston mechanism houses an ingeniously hidden ink reservoir good for a few more pages, and the beautifully shaped 14 karat gold nib offers excellent writing qualities. The cap has a strong "ball clip".

Aurora is an Italian manufacturer of writing instruments, founded in 1919. Aurora pens are still manufactured in their original factory in Turin in northern Italy.

The Aurora 88 is available with a matching ballpoint pen, mechanical pencil or rollerball.
