Montblanc StarWalker Blue Planet Metal Doué fountain pen

The Montblanc StarWalker was introduced in 2003. Remarkable is the proportion of cap and barrel, a relatively long barrel with a short cap. The excellent clip is robustly designed and even extends beyond the cap edge, a distinctive design element.

There are three blue variants available, one in "Precious Resin" with a barrel and cap in dark blue precious resin. A "Doué" variant, with a dark blue plastic barrel and smooth platinum plated cap, and a "Metal" variant with a platinum plated cap and a metal guilloche barrel with a beautiful transparent blue lacquer. The star in the transparent clip cap rests on a blue dome, resembling the earth from space.

The 14 karat gold nib is rhodium-plated. Montblanc only supplies the Starwalker as a cartridge pen, however, we have a perfectly fitting converter for this fountain pen, so it can also be filled from the inkwell. The ballpoint has a twist mechanism and the roller pen accepts both Montblanc roller and felt tip refills. The pen comes stylishly packaged in a luxury gift box, with the accompanying warranty papers.
