The Visconti Dreaming Starry Night Limited Edition is the culmination of a grand journey of more than twenty years, driven by a passion for art, a love for beauty, and a commitment to quality. The first Visconti pens dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh date back to 2001, and since then they have never stopped celebrating the life and works of the great Dutch painter, along with the infinite beauty that surrounds us.

The design of the collection is inspired by Van Gogh's famous impasto brushstrokes which, by applying thick layers of oil paint, gave his masterpieces their characteristic vibrant effect. To mimic this feeling, the holder and cap of the Visconti Dreaming Starry Night Limited Edition are made using the ancient sculptural technique of lost-wax casting in silver. In this way, when touching the pen, you can feel the ridges and swirls that are characteristic of Van Gogh's works. On this micro-cast silver base, a layer of enamel is applied, imitating the most famous work of the Dutch painter: The Starry Night. Each pen is carefully hand-enameled by master craftsmen to pay tribute to Van Gogh's painterly mastery.

Even the smallest details of the Visconti Dreaming Starry Night are designed to celebrate art. The clip is cast in yellow gold-plated silver and represents a paintbrush, the essential tool of the painter. The band features the artist's signature, engraved and accented with a blue enamel layer that elegantly contrasts with the yellow gold-plated metalwork of the pen.

The fountain pen version features the iconic Visconti Power Filler Double Reservoir filling system and an 18kt yellow gold nib.

The pen is complemented by a special stand reminiscent of the world of painting, designed as a precious frame resting on its easel.
