This model has a fin on the cap that functions as a roll stopper. It is designed with the image of a knife. "Ishime kanshitsu, Black" uses black lacquer as the base color and black dry lacquer powder. It has a beautiful jet-black finish that resembles obsidian. "Ishime" is made with a special technique that creates a stony texture on the surface.

When the dry lacquer powder is sprinkled onto a lacquered surface, surface tension occurs and the powder gathers in certain spots. Use the clumps that have formed by chance, apply the lacquer in layers, let it adhere, and then polish it to create "Ishime." It becomes the "cobblestone-like" finish in the garden.
