Leonardo momento zero magico pithecusa st fountain pen
Item no: MZ-MAG-PITH-ST M
The Leonardo Momento Magico Pithecusa is named after the island of Ischia, the island of beauty. Today's fountain pens are pure magic, with magical liquid inside, the ink. These instruments can tell ancient and modern stories. They recall the splendor of the period between 900 and 700 BC, a time when Hellenic culture also left an important mark on Italian territory, just as on the current island of Ischia, whose old name, Pithecusa, was chosen precisely to to celebrate a historical era that can still evoke beauty and emotions.
The Pithecusa is based on the Leonardo Momento Magico model, it has elegant lines with a perfect vintage style clip. On this edition, the central band is engraved with a three-dimensional pantograph, which gives life to its new model. It has a wave pattern, reminiscent of the continuous movement of the sea and the dunes of the sandy beaches of the Island of Beauty.
Leonardo Officina Italiana has added a new collection to its range: the Momento Magico. It is a fountain pen with a piston filling system, which was designed and created in their own studio. The body of the pen has a distinctive ink window of 10 millimeters high, so that the ink level can be seen at all times. Not that the ink will run out quickly, since the reservoir has a capacity of no less than 1.5 milliliters.
On the cap of the Momento Magico, the decorated ring stands out, which contains a detail from a movement in art history known as geometric art. He refers to the decorations that the ancient Greeks created between 900 and 700 BC.
The pen is available with a steel point, a gold point or an extra flexible gold point. The gold nibs are equipped with an ebonite ink guide. The nibs are finished with an extra strong lamination layer, so they can be used for any type of ink.
