The Lamy Z53 steel nib is suitable for Aion fountain pens. The nib can be easily slid onto the pen's feed, making it a good replacement for a damaged nib. The Z53 stainless steel nib has a different design than the Z50 nib.
Former Parker employee, C. Josef Lamy founded the family business in 1930. Lamy writing instruments are known for their design and functionality. In 1966, when Dr. Manfred Lamy became director, Lamy focused on the German Bauhaus movement (Ikea draws on the same ideals). This proved to be a resounding success, symbolized by the Lamy 2000 after 50 years.
