Kaweco Sport Brass fountain pen

The surprisingly designed Sport is without a doubt the most important model ever marketed by Kaweco. The short barrel is almost completely covered by the long octagonal screw cap. When the pen is closed it can easily be carried in the pocket, with the cap on the back of the holder the pen fits comfortably in the hand. Closed, the pen measures 10.5 cm, with the cap on the back of the holder 13.5 cm.

The Kaweco Sport Brass is made entirely of brass and is relatively heavy for the small size of the pen. The brass is untreated, so small scratches resulting from normal use are quickly visible. This is normal for this type of finish. More will develop with use, giving the pen its own character and patina. This is partly caused by the natural discoloration of the material.

The excellent writing nibs are made by the Bock company from Heidelberg. The Kaweco Sport can be filled with the small standard cartridges or with a small squeeze converter (not included). The Kaweco Sport is supplied without a clip, which can be ordered separately.

Kaweco Sport Brass is available as a fountain pen, ballpoint pen, rollerball pen and mechanical pencil 0.7 mm. The pen comes in a nostalgic tin box.
