13. Simplisties violet - Akkerman fountain pen ink
The faceted ink bottle is characterized by the long neck containing a glass marble. Akkerman fountain pen ink is suitable for any type of fountain pen and available in 31 sparkling colours. The ink colours have been given names with a Hague touch
What makes this bottle so unique? By tilting the sealed ink bottle, the neck fills with ink. When set upright again, the marble falls back and prevents the ink from flowing back. This creates a reservoir of ink above the marble, from which the fountain pen can be easily filled, even when the bottle is nearly empty.
#13. Simplistic violet
The Hague directors Mr Koot and Mr de Bie once, in the first episode of Koot & de Bie in 1974, explained best what the Simplistic League stood for: advocating a “simplistic” view of society, fighting bullshit, and wishing for peace and harmony for all peoples in the world, provided they accept simplism as an ideology. Violet is a mix of red and blue and can evoke a feeling of deep relaxation. A small amount of violet gives someone a feeling of confidence, dignity, and determination.
