The Pelikan Souverän M400 Tortoiseshell White fountain pen is the second smallest model in the Souverän series. It is also the size that has existed since the 1950s, making it a true classic. The fountain pen has a built-in converter, which is standard for the entire Souverän series. The striped barrel is partially transparent, allowing the ink supply to always be visible.
The exterior of the pen's body is unique in its kind and is manufactured according to a patented process: raw cotton undergoes several processing steps until a thin striped sheet of cellulose acetate is formed.
The nib is made of 14-carat gold with a rhodium plating. The famous clip, shaped like a pelican's beak, is gold-plated, as are the other fittings. All in all, this results in a high-quality fountain pen!
