This Patron of Art 888 Charlemagne appeared in 2000, it was exactly 1200 years ago that year that Charlemagne was crowned Emperor in St. Peter's Church in Rome by Pope Leo III.

With this edition, the barrel and cap are made of solid white gold, the openwork rings are also made of white gold. The cap ring is set with small tsavorites - green garnets. The clip is also made of white gold with a larger rectangular garnet at the end. The hand-worked, partly rhodium-plated nib in 18-carat gold is decorated with an engraving of an early medieval pattern and the monogram of the emperor. The white "Montblanc" star on the clip cap is made of mother of pearl.

This beautiful fountain pen is new, never inked and complete with box and papers, all in excellent condition.
