Montblanc Elixir ink bottle | 3 colors
This classic color dates back to 300 BC. and originates from the blue pigment, azurite, of the copper mines in Cyprus. Soon after, Egyptians quickly spread this pigment throughout the ancient world. During the Middle Ages, the color was also extracted from the precious lapis lazuli stone used in medieval guilds by nobles and kings and in paintings during the Italian Renaissance. The precious ink recipe includes the intensity of Gardenia Blue extracts and safflower petals.
