Parker Duofold Centennial Classic Big Red Vintage CT fountain pen

Item no: 1931375F

€648,76 EUR

The barrel and cap of this Parker Duofold Classic Big Red CT collection are carefully turned from a solid piece of orange resin, the ends, clip cap and barrel end are black. In this orange version, the holder has the classic blind Duofold engravings with "Lucky Curve". All fittings, clip and rings have a palladium finish. The fountain pen has a bi-color 18 krt. gold nib and can be filled with Parker cartridges or with the supplied converter. The pen comes in a luxury Parker gift box.

The first Parker Duofold was launched in 1921. It was a revolutionary pen with a different design. It stood out for its hefty size, bold color and high purchase price: more than twice the price of the average fountain pen back then. The Parker Duofold became an immediate success, which other pen manufacturers quickly followed. The entire Parker collection was restyled at the beginning of 2016, and a year later this new collection is now also available in the Netherlands. In addition to new resin Parker Duofold "Classic" versions, a number of heavier "Prestige" Duofold variants have now been released, the base of these pens is all metal with a high-quality finish. A striking feature is the broadly designed cap rim, which is optically constructed from three rings, a recognizable historical Parker design element, with "Parker" engraved in the middle ring.
